Programs Utilized this Semester
1. Voki- Voki was a great program that teachers can utilized to engage their students.  As an elementary teacher, my students love avatars, and this would be an awesome way to introduce a lesson use throughout a lesson to keep their attention.

2. Wiki- Wiki is an awesome way to stay connected with people.  It's similar to a blog site and can be used in the classroom, as well as for personal use.

4. SlideShare- Slideshare is a great program that's similar to powerpoint.  Slideshare has more capabilities than powerpoint, because individuals can share things with people all over.

5. Website- The website is an awesome way to stay connected with parents, colleagues, students, family, and friends.  Teachers can run their entire classroom from a webpage.

6. Glogster- I love glogster.  As an elementary teacher, we create anchor charts.  Glogster is the technology piece to anchor charts, but better.  Teachers can give students the link to go to their glogster and use it as a part of their lesson.

7. Concept Map-The concept mapping is a great way for teachers to engage their students through a technology component.  I created my concept map on the water cycle.  It's a great way for teachers to create a visual of a concept and present it to their students.

8. Prezi- Prezi was a different type of program that teachers can present a concept to their students.  It's similar to powerpoint, but is visually different.

9.  Timetoast- Timetoast is a great way for teachers to use technology in the classroom.  Teachers can create a timeline to use with their students or students can create their own timeline and present to the class.  I loved creating the timeline of Presiden't Obama's Life.
